Some of you may be aware that over the last 3-4 years we (GTH) have sponsored and supported Giles Evans in his quest to become a tour pro on the main stage. Giles Evans is based at Thetford Golf Club and having had a fantastic but at the same time a disappointing experience at the DP Tour school, he just missed by one shot the opportunity to qualify for the DP World Golf Tour.

Instead of feeling sorry for himself he has grabbed the chance to look at what he did this time last year to see what he can improve on, and has decided to spend one month in the sun where he can practice and play every day as he feels that this will better equip him for the start of the season. 

From Giles “After coming so close at tour school I am so excited for 2025 as I now have the one thing that I’ve maybe struggled with in the past …. belief and confidence that I can compete at the very highest level.  

After playing at tour school with and against some great golfers, I’ve come away knowing that I belong and I have the ability beat anyone. I’m going to Egypt to prepare myself for the season and if anyone wishes to join me and therefore helping me out financially I can guarantee that I will give you an amazing experience. You will warm up with me, practice with me, play golf with me and I will show you how best to prepare for any tournament you have coming up.

He needs everyone’s help in reaching the funding target of between £35k – £50k to allow him to really give this next season his all and do us all proud. 

To help raise funds for Giles we are going to offer an amazing experience that we will probably never be able to offer again whilst at the same time we (GTH) will give the profits from these trips to Giles to help fund his cause.

Giles is going to spend one month in Egypt just before the season to work on his game and get used to playing so that he’s ready for when the competitions start. We are offering only SIX golfers to join Giles each week where you will eat, sleep, practice and play with him so that you can find out how to get the best out of your game. This is an amazing opportunity that he is offering and all proceeds from these trips will go into helping him reach his funding target of between £35k – £50k. You can choose any week from the below dates where the first two weeks Giles will be staying at the G Hotel in Sokhna, and the second two weeks at the Westin Katameya Dunes. Both of these resorts have 27 holes and full practice facilities on site which are simply amazing.
