After visiting the magnificent Steigenberger Resort and El Gouna Golf Club, we knew we had to organise a trip here, and now it’s finally here. This is a truly fabulous hotel, offering the perfect place to unwind after a round of golf, whether that’s by relaxing in the private lagoons or soaking up the sun around the stunning pool area.
The golf course is just a short walk away, or easily reached by buggy or even a scenic ferry ride across the lagoon. Once there, you’ll find excellent practice facilities alongside a beautifully maintained course.
The nearby resort centre is only a five-minute taxi or tuk-tuk ride away, offering a great selection of local bars and restaurants if you fancy an evening out beyond the hotel.
On your day off, there’s also the option to visit the incredible Valley of the Kings. This excursion is available at an additional cost, but it’s an experience many of us won’t want to miss.
